How to donate any poltical party
Donations could be made to any political party through electoral bonds. But now the Supreme Court has put a halt on electoral bonds. So now people want to know how to donate to a political party.
Electoral Bond
The issue of Electoral Bonds has been a hot topic of discussion these days. The Supreme Court has put a halt on the donations to political parties through Electoral Bonds and has now ordered that complete information about it be made public. This is a big blow for political parties ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Now the question is, apart from Electoral Bonds, how can political parties receive donations? What options are available if someone wants to donate to their favorite party?
Until the government creates any new rules regarding donations, the old methods can still be used to donate to political parties. This includes donations through checks, the details of which must be provided to the Election Commission. Additionally, political parties can accept donations through their websites, the details of which must be disclosed on the website.
Previously, donations could be made to any party anonymously. However, this will no longer be the case. Now, before donating to any party, full disclosure must be made regarding which party is receiving how much donation
How Amit Shah Ji Donated
A few days after the halt on Electoral Bonds, the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah donated two thousand rupees to the BJP using the NaMo app. He also appealed to the rest of the country to support them. You can donate to your preferred party by becoming a member. Additionally, many parties also collect donations through checks. However, these donations are not in the millions or billions like Electoral Bonds. This is known as crowdfunding.
Donations received by Political Parties
Currently, the Supreme Court has made it clear that the State Bank of India (SBI) must provide information about Electoral Bonds as election donations under any circumstances. Afterward, the information about the Electoral Bonds will be posted on its website
